  1. STEP 01 / 05

    Say hello. Make it your business.

    Open InvoicePadi on WhatsApp and say hi. Padi welcomes you, then sets up your business one question at a time — once, right in the chat.

    • Share your business name, address (or just city and state) and the phone number customers should call.
    • Add your bank name, account name and number in one message, then send your logo — or skip it for a clean name badge.
    • Padi shows your saved details to confirm. Next time, it simply welcomes you back.

  2. STEP 02 / 05

    Paste the order, just as you sell it.

    Tell Padi who the invoice is for, then send your items, quantities and prices. AI-powered extraction reads your order; precise calculations keep the totals accurate to the kobo.

    • Use a simple list or everyday wording, such as “2 floor mats at 50k each”.
    • Include delivery charges or a discount when they apply. Tax is off by default.
    • Missing customer name or unclear amounts? Padi asks before moving ahead.

  3. STEP 03 / 05

    Review every line. Then confirm.

    Padi returns an invoice summary so you can check the customer, items and total before a PDF is created. You stay in control of what gets issued.

    • Check quantities, prices, delivery and discounts in the summary.
    • Need a change? Reply with the correction before confirming.
    • Reply Confirm when the details are right.

  4. STEP 04 / 05

    Get your branded PDF. Share it yourself.

    Your invoice comes back to your registered business number as a PDF, using your saved business details. Open it, check it and forward it to your customer when you're ready.

    • Your business name, branding and any saved bank details appear on the invoice.
    • The PDF includes your customer, invoice number, itemised order and Naira total.
    • Padi never automatically sends an invoice to your customer.

  5. STEP 05 / 05

    Record payment when it actually arrives.

    Around three minutes after issuing a WhatsApp invoice, Padi asks whether your customer has paid. Check your own bank first, then tell Padi what you received.

    • Not paid yet? Say so — the invoice stays unpaid.
    • For a partial payment, state the amount received so the remaining balance can be recorded.
    • Reported payments contribute to your bookkeeping. Dashboard access requires a separate account; WhatsApp registration alone does not create a login.
